When you know something is off, but you don't know why

Maybe your horse isn't performing the way they normally do.

Maybe their behavior has changed, something feels physically off, or you're trying to understand why something that used to be easy has suddenly become difficult.

Or maybe nothing is necessarily wrong — you simply want to understand your horse better.

Animal communication can help bring another piece of information to the table.

During a communication, I look at the whole picture, including:

• How your horse thinks and processes pressure
• Potential physical discomfort that may be influencing behavior or performance
• What they are experiencing emotionally
• The pressure and communication between horse and rider
• Anything else your horse brings forward that may be important

My work complements the work of veterinarians, trainers, bodyworkers, and other equine professionals. Sometimes what I receive helps narrow the focus, ask better questions, or identify something that should be looked at more closely by the appropriate professional.

The goal is to stop guessing and have more clarity about what your horse may be trying to tell you.

Performance horses are my specialty

Much of my work is with horses competing in barrel racing, cutting, roping, cow horse, and other performance disciplines.

In a competitive environment, small things matter.

A horse may be physically capable of doing the job but struggling with pressure. A change in behavior may point toward discomfort. Sometimes the horse is responding to pressure or anticipation from the rider.

And sometimes, it's a combination of things.

My job is to listen to the horse and help bring clarity to what may be influencing their behavior or performance.
